Obituary for Mr. Robert Eugene Webber Robert Eugene Webber, affectionally known as “Bob a Louie”, 87, passed away March 27th, 2018, at Florida Hospital Flagler in Palm Coast, Florida. He was born in the family home near Stockport, Iowa on May 12th, 1930 to the late Ray Ellsworth Webber and Ona Crawford Webber. After growing up on a grain and dairy farm in Iowa, his adult life consisted of moving to different farms around the southeast that were in financial trouble and making them profitable again.

He then moved to Bishopville, SC for semi-retirement and worked in lumber and pipe threading before full retirement to Palm Coast, FL. He is survived by his three daughters, Sheryl (Bob) Fleury of Palm Coast, FL; Rhonda (Jake) Raley of Bishopville, SC and Susan(Bobby) Boyles of Sumter SC; sister, Pauline Roecklein of Holts Summit, MO; brother, Keith (Letitia) Webber of Stockport, IA; 9 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, David Allen Webber and Ronald Eugene Webber; a great-grandson: Caden Bryce Hall; and a brother, John Wayne Webber.

A “Celebration of Life” was held at the Tidelands Community Center in Palm Coast, FL in which a daughter, Susan Boyles of Sumter, SC; sister, Pauline Roecklein (99 yrs old) and niece, Nancy Dianna Price of Holts Summit, MO; and nephew, Jim Likes of Columbus, Ohio attended. Graveside services will be held 5 o’clock on Sunday, April 29, 2018, at St. Matthews United Methodist Church in Bishopville. Hancock-Elmore-Hill Funeral Home is serving the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to St. Matthews United Methodist Church, 2144 Stokes Bridge Rd W, Bishopville, SC, 29010.
