James M. Tomten, 28, of Janesville, WI, died Saturday, February 9, 2019. He was born January 25, 1991 in Janesville, WI, the son of Ray and Rita (Solles) Tomten. James married his high school sweetheart Tatiana Guerrero on June 25, 2018 in Janesville, WI, who he loved and adored deeply.

James was employed by IPM Foods. James loved spending time with his children and taking care of them, being outdoors and cooking for his family and friends. He enjoyed his cars and working on them.

James had an infectious laugh and love for people. Survivors include his wife, Tatiana Guerrero Tomten of Beloit, WI; children, Isabelle, Josanabelle, Damian and Jesiah; his parents, Ray and Rita Tomten of Beloit, WI; sister, Crystal Tomten of Beloit, WI; brother, Christopher Schroeder of Beloit, WI; paternal grandfather, Sherman Tomten of Janesville, WI, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Deanna and Carlos Guerrero; sister-in-law, Magan Guerrero of Beloit, WI; brother-in-law, Raymond Triplett of Beloit, WI; aunt and uncle, Butch and Sherry Hogan; other numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation of remembrance for James will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, February 17, 2019 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI.

The family requests to wear blue in memory of James. Private family graveside will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family for a memorial that will be established at a later date.
