William L. “Bill” Riley, 88, of Beloit, WI, died Friday, February 8, 2019 in his home. He was born August 1, 1930 in Wheeling, IL, the son of Lester and Zinnettie (Lenzendorf) Riley. Bill was a 1950 graduate of Beloit High School.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Bill was formerly employed by Seig Company. He loved working on cars, fishing, and spending time with his family and dogs.

Bill was known as the best mechanic in Beloit. Survivors include his children, David Riley of Janesville, WI, Cheryl (Steven) Frenzel of Beloit, WI, Ruby (Mark) Butson of Argyle, WI, Steven Riley and Lorie (Robert McNally) Riley both of Beloit, WI; four grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; two brothers; one sister; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, seven brothers and sisters.

A Visitation of Remembrance will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, February 15, 2019 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI.
