Canfield-James Valentine Zinni, 70, passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Hospice House in Poland. Mr. Zinni was born October 26, 1947 in Martins Ferry, a son of the late Valentine and Elsie Lynn Zinni. Jim was the owner operator of the Zinni Golf Construction Company.

He enjoyed building golf courses and skiing in Colorado but especially loved being supportive of his grandchildren attending all of their activities. His wife the former, Marcia Kaye McMillen, whom he married September 23,1965, died December 26, 2016. He is survived by three daughters, Valentina (Mark) Figurella of Chargrin Falls, Kelly Zinni of Canfield and Kimberly (Daniel) Hazelbaker of Beloit; a son, Timothy Zinni of Beloit; a sister, Sue Zinni of New Albany; two brothers, Joseph Zinni of Joseph, OR and Jon Zinni of Tiltonsville; and six grandchildren, Jacob (fiancé Adriana Veneroso) Zinni, Nicholas Zinni, Alexander Figurella, Natalie Figurella, Haley Hazelbaker and Ellie Hazelbaker.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 pm, Monday, July 23, 2018 at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana with Pastor Kari Lankford officiating. Friends may call from 4-7 pm Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at 11:00 am Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Holly Memorial Cemetery, Colerain, OH.
