East Palestine-Alice Elaine Hardie, 79, passed away Sunday evening, September 9, 2018 at Covington Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, East Palestine. Mrs. Hardie was born February 21, 1939 in Negley, a daughter of the late Edward and Olive Black McCoy and had lived in this area all of her life. Alice had worked for various restaurants in the area.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Regina McCoy of East Palestine. She was preceded in death by fours sisters, Kathleen Sheerer, Twila Hall, Virginia Costello and Frances McCoy and four brothers, Charles, Gene, Edward and Howard McCoy. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm Friday, September 14, 2018 at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana with Pastor Kari Lankford officiating.

Burial will follow in Crest Haven Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 10 am to 12:00 pm Friday at the funeral home. Sign the guest register and send condolences to the family at www.
