East Palestine- Kim W. Sansenbaugher, age 72, of East Palestine, died on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at his residence. He was born on November 29, 1945 in McKeesport, PA. , the son of the late Delmar and Ruth Taylor Sansenbaugher.

Kim worked at East Palestine High School for 32 years and served on the East Palestine Volunteer Fire Dept for over 40 years. He was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church in East Palestine and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Clark Sansenbaugher whom he married on March 19, 1966; three sons, Troy (Bonnie) Sansenbaugher of East Palestine, Brett Sansenbaugher of Rogers, and Eric Sansenbaugher of East Palestine; two granddaughters, Emily Sansenbaugher of Seattle, WA.

, and Carley Sansenbaugher of West Mifflin, PA. , and by his mother in-law, Esther Clark of East Palestine. Kim was preceded in death by an infant son, Clark C. Sansenbaugher.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 9, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home, East Palestine. Memorial services will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2018, at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Mark McTrustry officiating. Donations may be made in Kim’s name to the East Palestine Firefighters Association, P.O. Box 101, East Palestine, OH 44413.
