Obituary for James Vincent LaGrosse James “ Jim” Vincent LaGrosse Jr., 84 of Aliquippa passed away peacefully April 25, 2018 He was born September 13, 1933 in Monaca and was the son of the late James and Anna (Danna) LaGrosse. In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his beloved wife Margaret “Mickey” LaGrosse on January 17, 2018. He was a devoted member of Saint Titus Roman Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society.

Jim was the founder of Fab 50 Club and worked the PTG. Jim was an Air Force Veteran serving during the Korean War. He was retired from J&L Steel and Chartiers Center in Bridgeville.

Jim is survived by two loving sons and daughters-in-law: James Vincent LaGrosse III and Laura Rex LaGrosse and Joseph and Christine LaGrosse. Seven grandchildren: Amanda, James, Andrew, Theadora, Renee, Julia, Joseph and three great grandchildren: Sophia, Damien and Maya. Jim is also survived by a sister and brother-in-law: Janice and Peter Paul and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 pm in the Anthony Mastrofrancesco Funeral Home Inc. 2026 McMinn Street, Aliquippa. Departing prayers will begin at 10:30 am Saturday in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Titus Church. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.

The St. Titus Holy Name Society will recite the rosary at 7:30 pm in the funeral home The Beaver County Special Unit will conduct military honors at the cemetery in honor of Jim.
