Obituary for Rocco Veri Rocco Veri, 94 formerly of Hopewell Twp. passed away peacefully April 9, 2018. He was born May 31, 1923 in San Vito, Italy a son of the late Domenic and Matilda Veri.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three sons: Donald, Lino and Joseph Veri, his wife Mary Veri, a brother and sister-in-law: Salvatore and Philomena Veri. Rocco honorably served our country in the US Army before becoming injured. He retired from J&L Steelworks where he worked in the Tin Mill.

Rocco enjoyed bowling and was proud of his three large vegetable gardens that he meticulously took care of. Rocco is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law: Gina Veri, CA and Tina and Joseph Kreson,VA Five grandchildren and their spouses: Michelle and Marc Harkins, Tom and Tobi Veri, Audra and Tom Senkevich, Trista and Donn Lentz and Jessica Kreson. Rocco was also blessed with six great grandchildren.

He is also survived by one brother and sister-in-law: Lino and Ellen Veri and Rocco’s nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm in the Anthony Mastrofrancesco Funeral Home Inc. 2026 McMinn Street, Aliquippa 724-375-0496. The Veri family would like to thank Beaver Meadows and staff for the care that was given to Rocco.
