Obituary for Laurie L. Pickens Laurie L. Pickens, 58 of Hopewell Twp. went home to be with the Lord on May 31, 2018. She was born November 4, 1959 in Pittsburgh and is the daughter of Shirley L. Vidonic and the late Charles L. Welsh.

Laurie was also preceded in death by a brother, Dan Welsh and her step-father, William Vidonic. Laurie was a veteran of the U.S. Airforce. She was very enthusiastic when it came to reading.

In addition to her mother, Shirley; Laurie is survived by a beloved daughter: Jessica Pickens and her fiancée Wyatt Thorn. Five brothers: Kerry (Barbara) Welsh, Rory (Lori) Welsh, Shawn (Sharon) Welsh, Mark (Janet) Welsh, numerous nieces, nephews and her beloved dog, Jack. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3:00 pm until time of service at 6:30 pm in the Anthony Mastrofrancesco Funeral Home Inc. 2026 McMinn Street, Aliquippa 724-375-0496.
