Obituary for Sarah “Tootsie” Jerich Sarah Jerich, 90 a life-long resident of Aliquippa, died peacefully at Friendship Ridge on Saturday, July 28th. She was born on May 3, 1928 to the late Milan and Millie (Perich) Jerich. Sarah was preceded in death by her brothers Samuel and Daniel (Duke) Jerich.

She is survived by her loving son Thomas Jerich and grandson Justin Jerich. Tom and Justin were Sarah’s pride and joy and she loved them with all her heart. Sarah is also survived by her cherished sister Lubi Kuga.

As sisters, Sarah and Lubi shared a bond throughout their lives that was unending. Sarah was deeply loved and will be missed by Lubi’s children: Linda Kuga Pikulin, Curtis Kuga, and April Kuga who visited Sarah faithfully every time they returned to Aliquippa. Sarah enjoyed cooking, singing and playing bingo.

She was a member of the Saint Elijah Orthodox Church, Aliquippa, PA. Our family would like to thank the Friendship Ridge staff…especially Becky for her tireless and compassionate care for the past 13 years that was given to Sarah. A private service was held at the Anthony Mastrofrancesco Funeral Home Inc., 2026 McMinn Street, Aliquippa, PA.
