James W. “Jim” Barr, age 78, of North Apollo, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2019 in Allegheny Valley Hospital. Born February 15, 1940, in North Apollo, he was the son of Catherine Denison. Jim was a boiler operator/maintenance worker for Babcock and Wilcox, and retired in 2000.

He was a proud veteran of the US Army, having served in Germany from 1957 to 1960.
