James W. Bigelow, 77, of Maumee, OH, passed away Friday, April 20, 2018, at Elizabeth Scott Community. James was born in Toledo, September 3, 1940 to parents, Edgar and Ethel Bigelow. He was a cement mason by trade, co-owner of Northwestern Concrete Wall Company prior to retirement.

He was a commodore at Maumee River Yacht Club in 1984. He was also an avid fisher, golfer, gardener and Ohio State fan. James is survived by daughters, Lisa (Joel) Miller, Cara Douglas (George McFadden) and Jana (William) Schultz ; grandchildren Kisa Bigelow (Chad Baranski), Maya Douglas, Gavin Douglas, Dana Schultz, Anna Schultz; great-grandson Andrew; sister, Jean Mersereau; brother, Robert Bigelow; and ex-wife Judith.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, William; sisters, Shirley Pinkelman, Ethel Brooks, and Mary Larzelere; and ex-wife Patricia. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 27, 2018, from 10 a.m. until the memorial service begins at noon. , at the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St. Sylvania.
