Frankfort – James William “Jim” Wolcott, 91, husband of Joe Ann Wolcott, passed away on Tuesday, September 04, 2018. He was born in Edinboro, PA on June 22, 1927 to the late Floyd Oliver and Grace Millspaw Wolcott. He was the district manager for Interlake Steel, and was a member of First Christian Church.

Jim was a veteran of the Army Air Corp and served in WWII. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, James D. Wolcott, AL, and Grace “Kit” Stone, Frankfort; his step-children,… Read More » Sharon Willingham, NC, Russell Givens, Frankfort, and Randy Givens, AZ; his brother, Paul Wolcott, PA; 11 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at First Christian Church, Frankfort.

Rev. Dr. John T. Opsata will be officiating. Burial will follow at Frankfort Cemetery.

Serving as casketbearers will be James D. Wolcott, James P. Wolcott, Thomas A. Wolcott, Joseph W. Wolcott, Russell Scott Givens, and Nicholas Stone. Serving as honorary casketbearers will be the Utterback Sunday School Class. Visitation will be held from 11:00am until the time of service on Saturday at First Christian Church in Frankfort.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the FCC Youth Fund.
