She was an incredible mother, grandmother, wife, teacher, friend, and confidant. She leaves us each better for having known her.

Mom was born in Beaumont, Texas on May 14, 1959 to the original Mimi and Paw-Paw, Edna and George Pharis. She met Randy Lindsey and came to Sherman to obtain her Masters of Education at Austin College. She married Randy, started her family, and never looked back.

She is survived by her loving husband Randy, children: Lauren, Justin, and Morgan, grandchildren: James, Lexi, and George, brother: George Jr., and hiking buddies: Peter and Stanley. She is preceded in death by her parents: George and Edna, her sister: Donna, and, as we were regularly reminded, the best dog in the world: Coco. A memorial will be held at Friendship United Methodist Church, 293 Friendship Rd.

, Sherman, TX at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2019. Mom was most comfortable in her jeans (actually, her lounge clothes). We invite her family and friends to attend in whatever attire makes you comfortable.
