Obituary for Jane R. (Kemplin) Hruby Athol – Jane R. (Kemplin) Hruby, 90, of Athol passed away on Monday, June 4, 2018. Jane was born on June 8, 1927 in Greenfield, MA to Howard Kemplin and Vera A. Clark She attended Belchertown schools and later married James W. Hruby. Jane was employed by Tyler Mills and McElwin Shoe Shop for a short time until she decided to become a homemaker.

She enjoyed collecting dolls and especially liked Shirley Temple. She also enjoyed playing card games, board games, puzzles, taking walks, and cooking. She also traveled to Hawaii, Arizona, and North Dakota, where she lived for a period of time with her husband.

Jane leaves behind her daughter, Vera Breault of Athol, and grandchildren Jerry Breault and Danny Breault of Winchendon, and cousin, Ellie Clark of Erving, MA. Jane was predeceased by her husband James and friend and companion Wallace Roche. Burial will be kept private.
