Janet C. Jack June 26, 1939 – December 31, 2018 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Janet Claudia Jack, 79, of French Creek passed away peacefully on December 31, 2018 at the United Hospital Center. She was born in Ceres, VA on June 26, 1939 a daughter of the late John Adam Cregger and Ida Bernice Brewster. Janet was preceded in death by her husband William Scott Jack; first husband, Lyman Bowes; and two siblings: Glenn Cregger and Imma Jean Hardin.

Left to remember Janet’s kind nature are three children: Rocinda “Cindy” Morrell and husband, Clifford, of French Creek, Samuel Joseph Bowes and wife, Robin, of Knightsdale, NC, and Rebecca Anne Bowes of French Creek; six grandchildren: Michael Paul Morrell and wife, Ashley, and Hailey, Rory, Noah, Alex, and Skylar Bowes; two great grandchildren: Lily and Karah Morrell; three siblings: Richard and Frankie Cregger, and Rosa Krick; and her feline friends: Lois and Clark. Janet was an amazing cook and put her talent to good use working for many organizations including the Buckhannon Elks Lodge, Culinary Creations, and Buckhannon Country Club. Up until April of 2018 she continued to share her culinary treasures with the Theta Xi Fraternity.

Janet was Methodist by faith and enjoyed gardening and reading a good western book. Above all she treasured her time spent with family. Her caring heart was unmistakable as she always put their needs before her own.

Graveside Services will be held in Upshur Memorial Park at 12 p.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2019 with Pastor Ed Lowther officiating. Tomblyn-Clutter Funeral and Cremation is honored and privileged to serve the family of Janet Claudia Jack. Online condolences may be expressed at www.
