Janet E. (Kirby) Ward, of Crafton formerly of Carnegie, a kind, sweet lady, passed away on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Allegheny General Hospital at the age of 74. Born in Pittsburgh on January 12, 1944, to the late Thomas and Edith (Dunlap) Kirby. Married June 18, 1966 to John W. Ward, she had 49 beautiful years with him until he passed December 13, 2015.

Beloved mother of Dale Ward (Jill), Jeff Ward (Sara) and Diane Connelly (Ryan); proud grandmother of Elias, Emily, Rilyn, Reese and Kian; sister of Patty Davis (the late Jack) and Sally Rakes (Gary); and her faithful dog, Roley. Janet was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of the Deaf (Swissvale) and active in the Deaf community. Janet lovingly adored her grandchildren.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Sunday 6-8 at Copeland’s Coraopolis, 867 Fifth Ave. where service will be held on Monday at 10 AM. Inurnment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
