Obituary for Janet Katherine Stuart Janet Katherine Stuart, age 89, a resident of Wells, NY went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 4, 2018. She was born January 10, 1929 in Northville, NY. The daughter of late Delos and Ruey Stanyon Abrams.

She was married to Jerry Stuart, Jr. for 72 years, and mother to her 6 children, Margaret, Geraldine, John, Gloria, Jane and Jerry. Grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. Janet was a lifetime resident of Wells, NY.

Unique, witty, loving and kind. She was thoughtful, loving and lots of fun! She showed people how to live, laugh and love.

“You can do anything you want if you put your mind to it”. Janet was a Coach, cheerleader, teacher and encourager for many. She loved sewing, quilting, knitting, cooking, gardening, and technology especially the “.com”.

She was a cheerful lady ready to help encourage and engage her children and grandchildren with life’s challenges. Janet truly took more time listening than talking. She loved entertaining, playing the organ, and listening to music.

Janet had a way of making things better by finding a silver lining in any cloud. She is gone from our sight but alive and strong in our hearts and minds. A graveside service will be held on Friday August 17, 2018 at 10 a.m. at the Algonquin Cemetery where her and her husband’s remains will be laid to rest.
