Obituary for Janet L. Dames Janet L. Dames – of Coal City (formerly of Wilmington) passed away at her home, Tuesday, September 18, 2018. Age 69 years. Survived by her sons Raymond M. Dames (Kelly Malott) and Shawn D. (Joanna) Dames, two grandson’s Collin and Adrian Dames; her brother Doug Corniels, sister-in-law Pat Dames (Burke) Schuster and her niece Colleen Lawless and nephews Mark and Tim Corniels and Burke Schuster.
Preceded in death by her husband Raymond E. Dames, parents Robert and Eleanor Corniels, sisters Sandra Corniels, Carol J. Corniels-Kunold and sister-in-law Barb Corniels. Janet enjoyed spending time playing bingo and card games, with her friends. She found great joy being with her family, especially her grandbabies.
