Dennis E. Krawchuck, age 59, passed away suddenly after a brief illness on Wednesday, August 29, 2018. Dennis is survived by his beloved son, Diego Krawchuck; loving and devoted sister, Diane (William) Wilkins; brother-in-law, Duane (Diana Replyuk) Walker; Victoria and her dear family. Preceded in death by his parents, Alex (2004) and Josephine (nee Felus) (2012) Krawchuck; and sister, MaryAnne Walker (2012).

Dennis was raised in Crest Hill and graduated from Joliet Catholic High School. He enjoyed bowling and was an avid Chicago Blackhawks and Chicago White Sox fan. He taught his son how to play baseball and become a pitcher.

He was employed 23 years for multiple cable companies and later worked for Cicero’s Development Corporation. Dennis was an active parishioner of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Joliet. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family to further Diego’s education would be appreciated.

A celebration of Dennis’ life was held privately. Per his wishes cremation rites have been accorded. He was laid to rest at St. Mary Nativity Catholic Cemetery in Crest Hill.
