Obituary for Phyllis C. Schauland Of Joliet, passed away at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center, Monday, October 15, 2018. Age 95 years. Survived by her two nieces Shirl (Ashley) Craig, Linda Cantu, Jane (Kurt) Gramlich.

Two nephews Mark (Pat) Schauland and Bob (Leona) Sarcletti. Also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her beloved friend Lois R. Willis, her parents Walter and Lillian (nee Floyd) Schauland.

Two nieces Mary Caryl Sarcletti and Karen Schauland Dempsey. Phyllis was a lifelong resident of Joliet, Graduate of Joliet Township High School Class of 1941. Lifelong member of Grace United Methodist Church.

She worked for Gilsam Wallpaper Company, Standard Oil Company and Prudential Insurance Company where she retired from in 1984. Phyllis was a real estate broker for Bell Reality. Past member of Joliet Business and Professional Women’s Club.

Funeral services will be held at the Grace United Methodist Church, 1718 Avalon Ave, Friday, October 19th at 11:00 A.M. Rev. Fritz Bartels officiating. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park II.

Memorials to Grace United Methodist Church or Joliet Area Community Hospice will be appreciated. Visitation will be held at Grace United Methodist Church, Friday from 9:00 A.M. until services at 11:00 A.M. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Phyllis C.
