Irene F. Vicic (nee Likovich), age 87, passed away suddenly on Saturday, October 20, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Irene is survived by her children, Cindy (the late Donald) Olson, Tim (Carol) Vicic, Randy (Lori) Vicic, Paula (Anthony) Sraj and Larry Vicic; grandchildren, Abby (Justin) Orlando, Jillian Vicic, Taylor (Kyle) Martinez, Matthew Vicic, Mackenzie and AJ Sraj, Jacob, Amber and Ryan Vicic; great-grandchildren, Hailey Vicic and Amelia Orlando; step-sister, Angie (Paul) Schrenock; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by her husband, Raymond J. Vicic; son, Danny Ray Vicic; parents, Ludwig “Shadow” and Georgette (nee DeMeyer) Likovich; and step-father, Sam Tinnerello.

Irene was a member of the Slovenian Union of America, the Croatian Cultural Club, KSKJ, Will County Seniors and Rivals Club. Irene greatly enjoyed playing euchre with many of her friends at the Croatian Cultural Club. She also enjoyed bowling with the seniors on Mondays and Wednesdays and working crossword puzzles.

She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be dearly missed. A celebration of Irene’s life will begin on Friday, October 26, 2018 with prayers in the funeral home chapel at 10:30 a.m. then driving in procession to St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Crest Hill for a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville.
