Janice Hall, 81 of Deane passed away Friday May 3, 2019 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Janice was the daughter of the late Clarence and Sadie Ratliff. She attended the Hemphill Baptist Church.

Surviving are 6 children: Debra Jo (Donald) Collins of Deane, Brenda Hall (Gary Watkins) of Deane, Beverly Ann Hall of Deane, Jennifer Sue (Bo) Arrowood of Neon, Taylor Blake Johnson of Lexington, and Makaley Skye Johnson of Lexington; 1 sister: Donna Sue Williams; 2 brothers: Mickey Ratliff and James Ratliff; 9 grandchildren: Christy, Shawn, Melissa, Brandy, Jody, Caleb, Joshua, Meagan, and Tate; 12 great grandchildren: Charley, Cheyenne, Gavin, Cody, Chloe, Mashaya, Camen, Gavin, Ryker, Camilla, Amarah, and Sawyer; 2 great great grandchildren: Chloe and Greyson. Janice was preceded in death by 1 daughter: Miranda Nicole Johnson Surber; 1 sister: Wanda Baker; and 1 brother: Danny Ratliff. Funeral 12:00 PM Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at the Hemphill Baptist Church with Danny Hurst officiating.

Visitation 6:00 PM Sunday and Monday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Hall Family Cemetery at Deane, Ky.
