Sister Janice M. Law departed this life on Friday, June 8, 2018, at her Whatley residence. Born April 6, 1961 to the late Silas and Ruby Law, she was 57 years of age. Janice attended First Baptist Church of Whatley and was a member of the Clarke County High School Class of 1979.

The majority of her life she worked as a seamstress in a variety of locations, acquiring a wide selection of friends and acquaintances. Preceding her in death was her loving brother, Alfred (Vicki) Law. Janice leaves to cherish her memory a beloved significant other, McClain Chapman of Whatley; one son, Pratrick (Sundey) Law of Jacksonville, FL.

; one daughter Jasmine M. Robinson of Pittsburgh, PA. ; three brothers, David (Phyllis) Law and Darren (Laura) Law, both of Whatley; Silas Law Jr. of Lacey, Washington; six grandchildren, three devoted, Azanna D. Law and Zharia N. Law both of Jacksonville and Braeden J. Watters of Pittsburgh; one devoted aunt, Tilda (John) Jones of Whatley and Clarence (Mary) Robinson of Silver Springs, MD. ; with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, June 15, from 7-8 p.m. at Jackson Memorial Funeral Home. Homegoing service will be Saturday, June 16, at 3 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Whatley, with Rev. Fernell Pendleton, pastor and eulogist.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Final life celebration has been entrusted to Jackson Memorial Funeral Home, 203 East Ross St., Jackson, AL 36545. Condolences may to the family may be offered at www.
