Janice Nalls Lewis was born in the middle of three children, February 18, 1940 in Fayette Alabama to the union of Ephriam E. and Verleaner W.(Madea) Nalls. She confessed Christ at an early age while attending St. John Baptist Church. Janice attended Westfield Jr. High and Westfield High School.

Janice was always known by her heart melting smile and great internal love for everyone. No matter how she felt or what was going on, she would always walk with a gracious glide in her step and her head held high. Janice was an awesome leader, not only with her family and friends, but also with each job and challenge she faced.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents Ephriam and Verleaner Nalls (Madea), sister Beatrice Curry and her son Micheal A. Nalls and also her loving grandson Anthony C. Lewis. She leaves to cherish her memories, two dedicated daughters, Wanda F. Thomas of Birmingham, AL and Erica L. (Ellery) Stewart of Seale, AL and a loving son Larry D. Lewis of Birmingham, AL. , grandchildren, Ashley Lewis, Stanley Thomas, Tracie Harris and Meon Johnson.

She also leaves host of nieces, nephews, great grandchildren, family and friends, along with a God daughter, Lanise McBride and a special sister Lynne Hunt. Also a special daughter Alecia Hawkins.
