Obituary for Janice Ramey Dozier Janice Ramey Dozier, 74, of Marietta died Thursday January 3rd. Funeral Services will be 2 PM Tuesday in the Chapel at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home in Marietta with Rev. David Bearden officiating.

Burial will be in Saint James Episcopal Cemetery in Marietta. Janice retired from Lockheed Martin as administrative assistant to the Vice President in charge of the F-22 program. One of her most memorable moments was attending the first flight of the F-22 aircraft with the rest of the F-22 team.

She was an avid ALTA tennis player and enjoyed playing golf with the ladies golf groups at Marietta Country Club and Ansley Golf Club. Janice was happiest when on the ski slopes of the western United States primarily in the State of Colorado, but she also enjoyed ski trips to Utah, California and Idaho. She also enjoyed her annual trip to the South Carolina coast with her children and grandchildren.

She enjoyed playing duplicate bridge with her Tuesday bridge group and competing in ACBL events where she attained the rank of bronze life master. Janice was a lifelong devout Christian and looked forward to joining her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in the afterlife Survivors include her husband George L. Dozier, JR of Marietta; her son W. Roger Stewart, JR of Woodstock. Three Grandchildren; Dillon Warren Stewart, Taylor Brooke Stewart and Hannah Marie Stewart all of Woodstock.

Her brother Mike Ramey of Franklin, NC and several nieces and nephews. Janice was preceded in death by her parents, Claude C. Ramey and Kathleen Bolick Ramey, and her daughter Dawn Juna Stewart.
