Janice Shockley Hendrix, 81, of Scottsville, KY passed away Friday, April 27, 2018 at the Medical Center at Bowling. The Scottsville, KY native was a homemaker, retired employee of Gerald Printing and member of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Garlin Everett Shockley and Nora Ann Pruitt Shockley and wife of the late Donald Dean Hendrix.

She is survived by 2 daughters: Ladonna Miller and husband, Mike, and Rita Trammel and husband, Terry, all of Scottsville, KY; 2 brothers: Buel Shockley and wife, Sue, Adolphus, KY and Terry Shockley and wife, Jo, Frankfort, KY; 1 sister-in-law: Jane Shockley, Scottsville, KY; 3 grandchildren: Katie Stinson and husband, Matt; Devon Trammel and wife, Marideth, and Clayton Miller; 4 great grandchildren: Tucker and Hadley Stinson and Maddox and Madalyn Trammel; 2 caregivers: Ruby Holland and Mary Tabor, both of Scottsville, KY; She was preceded in death by 1 brother: William Everette Shockley. Funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Billy Moran officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Goad Funeral Home.
