Obituary of Janice Lewis Janice L. Lewis, 68, of Bedford, passed away at 2:38 pm on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Born on April 17, 1950 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Thomas Junior and Opal Mae (Morrison) Ryan. She was a factory worker at Carpenter Bodyworks and Cook, Inc. Janice enjoyed reading, baking, yard sales and thrift shopping adventures, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include three daughters, Rachel Bunch and Scott Jellison of Bloomington, Stacie Jackson and husband Reid of Bedford, Deanna Todd and husband Rickie of Bedford; grandchildren, Kennedy and Cale Bunch, Kaitlyn Lewis and Ethan Lipscomb, Lainey and Chance Wade, Maddox, Raiden, Aralyn and Brinkley Todd, Libby Jackson and Shane Jarrett, Keegan Jackson, Ashlee Smith, Colin Turner and wife Chelsea; three great-grandchildren, Addisyn Lewis, Oaklynn Turner, and Brecklee Sherill; her father, Thomas Junior Ryan; one sister, Karen S. James of Tell City; two brothers, Timothy Ryan of Bedford, and Lawrence E. Ryan of Shoals. She was preceded in death by her mother, two sisters, Tammy Jean Ryan Steele and Rebecca Sears; one brother, Danny Ryan. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Monday September 17th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.

Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 11 am until the hour of service at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
