Obituary for Jason Rebideau Jason E. Rebideau Wassiac – Jason E. Rebideau, 40, a lifelong resident of Wassaic, NY, died unexpectedly playing softball, a game he loved to play, on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Sharon Hospital in Sharon, CT. Jason was a therapy aide at Cardinal Hayes Home for Children in Millbrook, NY. Born on December 20, 1977 in New Milford, CT, he was the son of Edward and Sherry (Horton) Rebideau of Amenia, NY.

In addition to being an avid softball player, Jason also enjoyed basketball. In addition to his loving parents, Jason is survived by his fiancée Natasha Barnes of Wassaic, NY; a brother, Justin Rebideau and his wife, Lisa, of Wassaic, NY and a sister, Alisha Whiteley and her husband, Gordon, of Wassaic, NY. He is also survived by two nephews, Ethan Rebideau and Hayden Whitely and two nieces, Olivia Rebideau and Haley Whitely.

Calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at the Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY. A graveside service and burial will take place at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Amenia Island Cemetery, Route 343, Amenia, NY.
