Jay’s Obituary Jay Fishkind, 74, formerly of Pocono Summit, died Monday, March 11, 2019, at Brookmont Healthcare Center in Effort where he was a resident since 2015. Born on May 22, 1944 in New York, he was a son of the late Louis and Rose (Friedman) Fishkind. He lived in Monroe County since 1979 and worked at Mt.

Airy Lodge. Jay was a former member of Temple Emanuel in Yonkers, NY and a member of the United Hebrew Music Association Society. He is survived by cousins.

Burial took place at Baron Hirsch Cemetery in Staten Island, NY.
