Obituary for JD Olds JD Olds, 85, of Magnolia, AR passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at the John R. Williamson Hospice House in El Dorado, AR. JD was born on April 6, 1933 in Emerson, AR to the late Leonard Steve and Maye (Brandon) Olds. He was a member of Brister Baptist Church and served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War.

He enjoyed traveling and camping with his wife. JD was preceded in death by his parents; brother Elwin Olds; and sisters, Arneil Satterwhite and Melbalene Benefield. He is survived by his wife of 65 years Millicent (Catching) Olds of Magnolia, AR; son Brad Olds and wife Robin of Houston, TX; daughters, Pam McGinty of Houston, TX and Tawana Hewitt of Spring, TX; grandchildren, Mandy Llana and husband John, Jonathan Hewitt and wife Patty, Caitlin Garcia and husband Mason, Callie McGinty, and Jordyn Olds; and great grandchildren, Trenton Hewitt, Payton Hewitt, Reese Hewitt, and Emma Llana.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at the Lewis Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Eric Goble officiating. Burial will follow at the Hephzibah Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia, AR. Visitation will be Saturday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Hewitt, Mike Benefield, Bob Satterwhite, Tim Cole, Dewayne Waller, and Clayton McNeil. Honorary pallbearers will be Dusty Shepherd, Danny Fitzpatrick, Glenn Rabb, David Godwin, and the Brister Baptist Church Men’s Sunday School Class. The family requests memorial contributions are sent to the John R. Williamson Hospice House, 2301 Champagnolle, El Dorado, AR 71730.
