Obituary for Stephen Michael Thomas Stephen Michael Thomas, 46 of Magnolia, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at his home. He was born on July 22, 1972 in Magnolia to the late Albert Lee “Junior” Thomas and Wanda Jo (Foster) Thomas and was a member of Rugged Cross Cowboy Church. “Stevie” was the owner and operator of Performance Automotive and Performance Oil and Lube in Magnolia.

He loved Hot Rods, Drag Racing, and most importantly his family and life where he lived like his time on earth was like your time on the track, “a short run but fast”. Steve is preceded in death by his parents; a son Michael Lynn Thomas; sister Missy Jones; and brother in law Eddie Jones. Stevie is survived by his brother Lynn Thomas and wife Toni of Magnolia; sisters, Liz Walthall of Hope, Arkansas, Kathey Lee of Magnolia; a brother Tommy Thomas; special friend Rex Minchew who Steve considered a father; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM at Rugged Cross Cowboy Church on Sunday, December 9, 2018 with Bro. Mike Launius and Bro. Eric Goble officiating.

Burial will follow at Hephzibah Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. Visitation with the family will be Saturday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Rugged Cross Cowboy Church, P O Box 1220, Magnolia, Arkansas 71754. Pallbearers will be Shannon Sanders, Kirk Wood, Jack LaBua, Richard Reeves, Charles Franks, Rex Minchew, Nancy Norment, Steve Cassidy, Levi Dozier, Jesse Mayo, Blane Acklin, Hunter Sweetwood, and Josh Watson.
