Obituary for Jean E. Rathgeber Jean E. Rathgeber, of Grand View Manor, Fleetwood, formerly of Souderton, passed away on Monday, October 8, 2018, in Berkshire Center, Exeter Township. She was 89. She was the beloved wife of the late William C. Rathgeber, Jr. for 66 years until his death in 2015.

Born in Sellersville, she was the daughter of the late Vernon S. and Ruth B. (Hearing) Bowers. Mrs. Rathgeber was a homemaker. An avid antiques collector, she had also particularly enjoyed traveling around the world with her husband.

Mrs. Rathgeber is survived by her four sons, Michael W. Rathgeber and his wife, Nancy, of Mesa, AZ; Jeffrey D. Rathgeber and his wife, Bralene, of Souderton; David L. Rathgeber and his wife, Barbara, of Greensboro, NC; and Steven (Todd) Rathgeber and his wife, Deanie, of Pottstown; eight grandchildren: Michelle, Michael, Abby, Douglas, Ashley, Dustin, Chris, and Kevin; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Donald Bowers; and a sister, Dorothy Tice. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, October 19, 2018, at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, 1169 Limekiln Pike, Ambler, PA 19002. Anyone attending services should arrive promptly at the Whitemarsh Clock Tower by 10:45 a.m. in order to form a procession to the graveside.
