OBITUARY Jean Lovin Lackey August 13, 1940 – October 12, 2018 Jean Lovin Lackey, 78, Lenoir, NC, passed away Friday, October 12, 2018 at Gateway Nursing in Lenoir, NC. Jean was born August 13, 1940 and was the daughter of the late Lloyd Thomas Lovin and Dee Ella Crawford Piercy. Jean was a member of West Hickory Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Bobby Ray Lackey. She is survived by her sons, Edward Lackey and wife Virginia, Bobby Lackey; daughters, Tammy Lackey and Cheryl Goode; brother, Terry Lovin; sisters, Judy Oyler and husband Glenn, Doris Holland; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and one on the way. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at 2 pm at Catawba Funeral Home with Chaplain David Kent officiating.

Burial to follow at Catawba Memorial Park. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1 to 1:45pm. Condolences may be left at www.
