Obituary for Jeannette Elliot-Camerota Cohoes, NY Jeannette Elliott-Camerota of Miller Avenue in Cohoes, passed peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, January 11, 2019, after a brief illness. She was the daughter of the late Frederick and Theresa Elliott and beloved wife of Oreste Camerota. She was a graduate of Cohoes High School and worked for Matthew Bender, JC Penney, The Law Office of John Poggioli and Questar III BOCES in clerical and accounting roles.

She retired early to be the primary caregiver to her parents over the past 15 years. Jeannette’s was a life of sacrifice and service to her friends, family and God. In addition to her husband she is survived by her son, Matthew (Donna) Krutka, her daughter, Lisa (Joe) Gorman and her daughter, Kiki (Holly) Fiato.

She was the devoted Nana to her grandsons Andrew and Curtis Gorman. She also leaves behind a brother and many cousins and nephews and Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Jeannette’s life at Marra Funeral Home on Tuesday January 15, 2019, from 4-6 p.m. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Jeannette Elliot-Camerota please visit our Sympathy Store.
