VICK Weaver – Graveside service for Jeannette Vick, 80, will be Friday 1pm at Anniston Memorial Gardens with Dr. Mike Holcomb officiating. Mrs. Vick passed away Tuesday at NHC Healthcare. She was a loving mother and grandmother of five children, George K. Vick (Toni) of Anniston, Edward D. Vick (Tami) of Jacksonville, Georgette Dowdy (Gary) of Weaver, Donna Ward (Wendell) of White Plains, Christine Ewing (James) of Lancaster, TX; nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sylvester & Mary Kosnik; husband, George E. Vick; sister, Florence Michalowski and Dolores Puwalski; brother-in-law, Leon Michalowski; granddaughter, Kristina Dowdy and daughter-in-law, Lisa Vick. Mrs. Vick’s great love of animals was know by many through her memberships with the Anniston and Birmingham Kennel Clubs and initially owning GJ’s Pet Center. In lieu of flowers, donations my be made to the Kidney Foundation, Heart Association, Multiple Sclerosis Foundation or American Parkinson Disease Association.
