OBITUARY Myra Sue McLain Craft September 11, 1932 – September 15, 2018 Myra Sue McLain Craft of Anniston, AL & Gulf Shores, AL. went to be with Our Heavenly Father on Sept. 15, 2018.

Sue passed in her home, peacefully at the age of 86. Sue was born Sept. 11, 1932 in Anniston, AL to the late Ross.

M & Donnie B. McLain. She was preceded in death by her brother Donald (Peggy) McLain & the late father of her Children David. M Craft.

She is survived by her daughters Connie J. Mandac & Karen C. Russo; grandchildren Tyler R. Mandac (Kandra), Shea Mandac, and Vincent R. Russo; Great grandchildren Lacey & Lila Mandac, Dagen & Ana Mandac; One niece, Shelly McLain (Mark) Taylor; great niece Bronte’ Taylor, great nephew Ross Taylor. Sue enjoyed a career with AFFES in many states including Newfoundland, Canada while being the wife of an Air Force Sergeant. Sue retired from Trade Winds Shoppette in Ft.

McClellan, AL. at the age of 70 and moved to Gulf Shores, AL. to enjoy the beach.

Sue volunteered at many charities in Gulf Shores & attended Gulf Shores United Methodist Church where she became a part of the Daybreak program there. This program enriched her life in many ways after her Dementia diagnosis & she made many friends. Sue led an honest life & influenced many with her strong character & independence which she learned & witnessed from her parents.

Sue established herself in Gulf Shores & made many friends who loved & enjoyed her. There will be a memorial service at a later date at the Gulf Shores United Methodist Church. Sue’s service will be held at 3:00, Saturday, Sept.

22, 2018 at Gray Brown-Service Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Gulf Shores United Methodist Church Daybreak, P. O. Box 372 Gulf Shores, AL 36542.
