OBITUARY Phyllis M. Broom March 13, 1954 – September 5, 2018 Anniston – Mrs. Phyllis Ann Broom, 64, of Anniston, AL passed away in the comfort of her home, Wednesday, September 5, 2018. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Boyd and Fannie Martin; Carl Radford and Margaret Hamilton; loving parents, Floy and Martha Martin; brother, Michael Loy Martin and nephew, Michael Cody Patterson. She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Ronald Broom and children: daughter, Bridget Bradshaw (Jeff); son, Jonathan Broom (Valerie) and grandchildren: Landon, Devin and Clara Ann Machristie, Rylee and Jake Broom, Jonathan and Sarah Bradshaw; brother, Randy Martin (Pam); sister, Pat Patterson (Terry); nieces and nephew: Tiffany Sallee (Jeff), Ben Martin (Brittney), and Haley Keirn (Will).

Phyllis was born in Anniston, AL and was a life-long resident of Calhoun County. She graduated from Wellborn High School and was an active member of the Wellborn community. Phyllis loved working as a florist making beautiful floral arrangements for over 20 years at Food World and Winn Dixie.

Phyllis was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed working in her yard and spending time with family. She loved life and was happiest when the kids and grandkids were happy.

Pallbearers will be Ben Martin, Matt Turley, Landon Machristie, Devin Machristie, Aaron Hagen, Nathan Broom, Rob Broom, Miles Broom and Jack Broom. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm, Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary with Rev. Paul Broom and Rev.

Don Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow at Eulaton Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation for Mrs. Broom will be 6-8:00 pm, Friday, September 7, 2018 at the funeral home.
