Anniston – A Celebration of Life for June Lloyd Swann, will be held on Sunday, November 4, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at Anniston Memorial Funeral Home. Rev. Keith Curlee will be officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. June was promoted to her Heavenly home on Saturday, October 27, 2018, after a brief illness. She is survived by her husband, Randy J. Swann; her daughters, Emily Boles (Tony Lee) and Leda Swann (Timothy Biddle); one granddaughter, Helen Isabella Biddle; siblings, Paula Weinstein, Sandra Harrison, Stanley Lloyd, and Cathy (Mike) Halpin; and many nieces and nephews.

June had a strong Christian faith and believed in all things loving, kind, and compassionate. She loved music and played the trumpet in the Wellborn High School marching band and graduated at the top of her class. June attended college at the University of North Carolina Greensboro.

She had many interests, but her family and friends were always her first love. June was co-owner of the La Bella Donna restaurant in Anniston. She loved visual arts, culinary arts, and decorating, which were on display at La Bella Donna for everyone to see and enjoy.

Her memory will live on and we look forward to a reunion with her one day. “Love one another as much as I have loved you. By doing this everyone will know that you truly belong to me”.

(John 13:34-35). In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the United Way of East Central Alabama, P.O. Box 1122, Anniston, AL 36202.
