OBITUARY Lewis M Brown June 13, 1928 – October 10, 2018 Funeral services for Lewis M. Brown, 90 of Anniston will be 11:00 am on Friday, October 12, 2018 at Gray Brown Service Mortuary with Rev. Daniel Harper and close family friend Tommy Munroe officiating. Burial will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mr. Brown passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2018 in Anniston. Survivors include his wife of 65 years Betty Brown, daughters Sue Long (Jeff), Kathy Barthel (Rick), Linda Yancey (Richard), Connie King (Doug), son Charles Brown, brothers Rayford Brown (Jo), Donald Brown (Ruth), twelve grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Brown is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Sudie Brown, sister Edna Miller, brother Floyd Brown, grandson Chad Brown and granddaughter Heather Barthel. Pallbearers will be grandsons and son-in-laws. Mr. Brown was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County.

He was a survivor of Pearl Harbor while serving in the US Navy. He retired from Union Foundry and was a member of Saks Baptist Church. He was an avid Alabama Fan, loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather of whom will be greatly missed.
