OBITUARY Norman Martin Stonecipher February 2, 1933 – October 2, 2018 Funeral services for Norman Stonecipher, 85, of Anniston will be Sunday, October 7, 2018 at 2:00pm at Gray Brown Service Mortuary with Rev. Clint Vaughn officiating. Burial will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Norman passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2018 in Anniston. Survivors include his sister Barbara Caussey of Coldwater, Alabama and his brother Lamar Stonecipher of Huntsville, Alabama.

Norman is preceded in death by his parents Hugh and Mary Stonecipher two brothers Charles Nathaniel Stonecipher and James Arnold Stonecipher. Pallbearers will be Cooper Hollis, JC Rollins, Brian Caussey, David Caussey, Tyler Rollins, Edward Fox. Norman was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County.

He graduated in 1952 from Oxford High School. He was a member of Coldwater Baptist Church where he played the piano. He taught music and could play various instuments such as piano, guitar, accordion, sax, clarinet and the violin.

He played in several local bands and his passion was building guitars.
