OBITUARY Gary Timothy Cotton July 30, 1942 – October 3, 2018 Funeral service for Gary Timothy Cotton, 76, of Anniston, will be 2 pm Friday, October 5, 2018 at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary with Rev. James Cohorn and Rev. Terry Smith officiating.

Burial will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday from 12 pm – 2 pm at the funeral home. Mr. Cotton passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at RMC.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Avis Cotton, daughter, Amy Cotton Brillhart, son, Mark T. Cotton, sister, Judy Echols, grandchildren, Anna Laurie Cotton, Banks Cotton, Caroline Brillhart and Olivia Brillhart and by his dog, Oreo. Mr. Cotton is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Ellard and Lurah Goodwin Cotton and brother, James Cotton. Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Mr. Cotton was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County. He was a member of Blue Mountain Baptist Church. Mr. Cotton retired from the Anniston Army Depot and after retirement he loved delivering flowers part time for Pinson Florist.

Mr. Cotton was a loving husband, father, grandfather who will be dearly missed. FAMILY Avis Cotton, Wife of 54 Years Amy Cotton Brillhart, Daughter Mark T.
