Alexandria – A time of remembrance and celebration of the life of Mr. Joel Stephen Henry will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2018, from 2-3 p.m. at Anniston Memorial Funeral Home. Joel entered his Heavenly home on October 10, 2018. He was born on April 6, 1960, in Talladega, Alabama and graduated from Talladega High School, Nunnelly Tech, Jacksonville State University and the Gadsden State School of Nursing.

Joel was a member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Talladega. He is survived by his wife, Wanda; his mother, Altheaon Henry; his brother, Jeffrey Henry (Susan Dale); three sisters, Susan Camp (Alan), Lauren Bishop (Steve), and Beth Farmer (Steve); two step-children, Brandi Smith (Jimmy) and Joel Gilmore; granddaughters, Britni Fuller (Tommy) and Ashli Pettus (Michael); grandsons, Zach Smith, Brent Gilmore (Shelby), and Blake Gilmore (Taylor); great-grandchildren, Ellasyn and Emery Fuller, Declan Pettus, and Kynzlie, Cade and Addyson; and 12 nieces and nephews.
