Jeffrey Lee “Jeff” Weshner, 67, of Clarkesville, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at the home of his sister, Maggie Weshner in Asheville, North Carolina. Jeff was born in Clarkesville on March 31, 1951 to the late Leon and Gertrude Chastain Weshner. Jeff earned an engineering degree from Southern Tech and was a self-employed land surveyor.

He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, gardening, and spending time with family and friends. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by a sister, Maggie Weshner of Asheville; two nieces, Anna Weshner-Dunning of Long Island, New York and Tobie Weshner of Portland, Oregon; cousins, Lynne, Lee, and CJ Ramsaur, all of Clarkesville, and Maxine Gaye of Orlando, Florida.

A graveside service to celebrate Jeff’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Kollock Episcopal Cemetery on New Liberty Road in Clarkesville. Rev. Sam Buice will officiate.
