Kitko, 62, of Glen Hope, passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Mt. Laurel Nursing & Rehab Center, Clearfield.
Born on February 28, 1956 in Philipsburg, he was the son of the late John “Jack” and Norma Jean (Deihl) Kitko. He graduated in 1974 from Moshannon Valley High School. He worked for Kitko Wood Products for almost 40 years as a Sawyer and Mill manager.
He was a member of the Coalport Moose Lodge, and was a big Nascar fan. He loved farming and gardening, and his animals and pets. He absolutely loved family traditions and “debating” politics.
He is survived by four siblings, Charles A. (Charmayne) Kitko, David L. (Patricia) Kitko, Donna F. (Allen) Figula, and John K. (Jayne) Kitko; ten nieces and nephews, Ashley Sankey, Holly Noel, Charlie Kitko, Jacob Kitko, Brittany Frisco, Kayla Figula, Alanna Dudurich, J.J. Kitko, Jackson Kitko, and Joseph Kitko. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, John W. Kitko. Family will receive friends 4-8 PM Saturday and 1-2 PM Sunday in Kruise-Spewock Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., Ramey.
Funeral Services will be held 2 PM Sunday at the funeral home, with Rev. Robert Ford officiating. Interment will follow in Bell’s Cemetery, Glen Hope.
