Born on June 16, 1943 in Madera, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Rachel (Richardson) Gillen.

On February 1, 1964, in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Houtzdale, she married Andrew Shedlock, who survives at home. She is also survived by two siblings, Jeannette (Joseph) Gavlak of Houtzdale, and James (Shirley) Gillen of Irvona, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Floyd Gillen, and seven sisters, Lillian Beal, Irene Washic, Hazel Willey, Marie Dawkins, Velma Dinant, Evelyn Fowler, and Jean Supko.

Friends will be received Saturday from 11 AM unitl the time of service at 1 PM at Kruise-Spewock Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., Madera, with Rev. Robert Ford officiating. Burial will be in Alexander Cemetery, Madera.
