Jennifer A. Allard, born December 10th, 1974 as Jennifer A. Wood, passed away at Baystate Medical Center on May 17th. Jenn grew up in Monson, MA with her parents Douglas and Marilyn Wood and her younger sisters Samantha and Meaghan, before moving with her family to Springfield in 1988 and attending and graduating from Commerce High School. Jenn worked several jobs over the years, many in the nursing field, but her most lasting position was as an Administrative Office Assistant at Berkshire Facial Surgery, a job she obtained after returning to school as an adult and earning an Associates Degree at Salter College in Chicopee, MA.

Known for her smart, sarcastic wit and her caring nature, Jenn’s greatest joy was her son Owen, who she had with her adoring husband Jeff, in 2005. They lived as a family in Chicopee, for the past fourteen years. Her parents both preceded Jenn in death with her mother, who she devotedly cared for during Marilyn’s long term illness, passing in January of this year.

Jenn leaves behind her sisters, Samantha and Meaghan Wood; her mother-in-law Camilla Bourbeau; her husband Jeff Allard; and her son Owen Allard. She also leaves her two kitties May and Boo who she doted on daily; several nieces and nephews who she loved; and a legion of friends, gathered throughout her life, who all cherished her dearly. Visitation for Jennifer will be held at the Kozikowski Funeral Home, 565 Front St., Chicopee, on Wednesday, May 22nd from 2-3PM, with a service at 3PM.

Burial will be the the convenience of the family.
