Obituary of Jenny Kurisko-Schultz Jenny Kurisko- Schultz, 41, of Harriman, NY (formerly of Stony Point), passed away peacefully on November 29, 2018 surrounded by her family. She did so with the same grace and strength that marked her entire life. Jenny was born on September 28, 1977 to John and Charmaine Kurisko (Robertson).

She graduated from NRHS, SUNY Plattsburg, and received her Master’s degree from Mercy College. She married the love of her life Frankie Schultz on July 23, 2011 at St. Mary’s Church in Haverstraw, NY. Jenny was a warm, welcoming spirit who embraced all those who came into her life.

She was a thoughtful, caring person who was always willing to help anyone, with a smile on her face. Jenny traveled many career paths in her lifetime, but worked alongside her father in his family business since the age of 14, moving on to open a business together. Jenny was an extremely hard-working individual that took pride in overcoming any obstacle that came her way.

She enjoyed hosting parties, laughing with her sisters, and spending her summers in the sun at the pool or at the beach. Jenny also dedicated her time to Happy Homes Animal Rescue. She and Frankie loved working, cooking, gardening, and vacationing together, always trying new places.

Although her time was short, she truly loved life. Jenny is survived by her husband, parents, three sisters: Dawne, Meredith, and Patrice, in-laws Frank and Judith (Brechbiel) Schultz, brother-in-law Brian and Madelaine, her grandfather Leonard Kurisko, nephews Cooper, Maddox, Matthew, and niece Harley. Jenny also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She is predeceased by her grandparents, James and Virginia Robertson, and Doris Kurisko. The family would like to thank the Kaplan Hospice Residence in Newburgh, NY for their excellent care, kindness, and support. Jenny’s family will receive friends and relatives on Sunday, December 2, 2018 from 3-8 PM at the T.J. McGOWAN SONS FUNERAL HOME, 71 N. Central Highway, Garnerville, NY.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Jenny on Monday, December 3 at 10 AM at St. Peter’s Church in Haverstraw, NY.
