Jeremy C. Jansen, age 23, of Appleton, passed away on Sunday, September 2, 2018. Jeremy was born in Appleton, on February 14, 1995, son of Thomas and Roxanne (Westerman) Jansen. He was a graduate of Appleton West High School where he excelled in Wrestling.

After graduation Jeremy enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. He loved cooking, eating at fancy restaurants with his mom, fishing hunting, and golfing with his grandmother and friend Matt. Jeremy was an all around jokester with a great sense of humor and always had a great attitude.

He had a special affection for animals and loved his pets, Tali, Shantae and Karma and also, Voodoo the Cat. Jeremy is survived by his parents, Thomas (Robin) Jansen and Roxanne (Rob Johnson Jr.) Jansen; siblings, Jessica (fiance’ Dustin), Chris (Caroline) Green, his grandparents, Janice Jansen, Gary & Cathy (Birling) Westerman, and Carol Van Lanen, and many friends and family. He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Carl Jansen.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon, on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at the Verkuilen-Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home, 101 Canal St., Little Chute. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. Full military honors will be conducted following the service.
