Schenectady – Jerold A. Melius, age 69, passed away suddenly on Thursday, June 21st, 2018. Born in Minneapolis, MN, Jerry was the son of the late Arthur and Violet (Findering) Melius. Jerry honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

Survivors include Jerry’s longtime companion, Sandra Cox of Schenectady and his brother, James Melius of Minneapolis. Services with military honors will take place on Friday, June 29th at 12pm at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd. , Schuylerville, NY.

We will gather at the cemetery entrance at 11:45am. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jerry’s name may be made to the Animal Protective Foundation, 53 Maple Ave. , Scotia, NY 12302.
